Smoking Ups Risk of Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Overall and by Subtype

The results of a Danish population-based study published recently in Cancer Medicine show that smokers have a higher risk of developing any MPN compared with nonsmokers—2.5‐fold higher among daily smokers and 1.9‐fold higher among occasional/ex‐smokers.
