Myeloproliferative Neoplasms in the Young: Mayo Clinic Experience With 361 Patients Age 40 Years or Younger

Results from a Mayo Clinic study show that MPN patients age 40 and younger had longer median survival estimates than older patients with MPNs across all three disease types: polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and primary myelofibrosis.
