Call for Abstracts

The second annual JADPRO LIVE: Transforming Oncology Practice conference will bring together leaders in oncology clinical care and research. The chairs of the conference invite attendees to submit abstracts for poster presentations and discussion sessions with colleagues.

Submission Deadline: September 15, 2014

Submission Guidelines

Abstract presentations are open to paid conference participants only. Presenting authors must be on site to discuss their abstracts during designated conference times. Authors seeking to present an abstract should complete their conference registration at the same time as their abstract registration, but the abstract content itself may be uploaded at a later date.

Potential participants should submit (upload) an abstract that briefly describes a completed initiative and the significance of the results to advanced practitioners in oncology. Content must be objective and free from bias. Topics can include projects, research, education, professional development, clinical practice, and evidence-based practice.

A non-refundable $50 fee will be charged to help cover administrative costs. This non-refundable fee will be waived for all members of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO). Participants will be contacted after content undergoes peer review.

Abstracts should include title of the abstract, the presenter’s name, credentials, title, organization, phone number, and e-mail address. A copy of the presenting author’s CV or resume must accompany the abstract.

Abstracts should be limited to 1 document page (400 words or less) with 1-inch margins using size 12 Times New Roman font.

Posters created for accepted abstracts should be no larger than 47" high × 95" wide. Easels and bulletin boards will be provided at the conference.

How to Submit

The abstract submission deadline is September 15, 2014. To submit, you must register for the conference first. When registering, you will be given the option to submit an abstract. You can upload your file then or return to the site at a later date to submit your abstract.
