ABSTRACT

At the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC) of the University of Pennsylvania, 83% of the MDs collaborate with an advanced practice provider (APP). With the widening gap between the demand for oncology services and providers, it is estimated that these numbers will continue to increase. Yet there are no benchmark metrics specific to the oncology APP that can be used to represent their value as medical oncology professionals. Learn about the authors’ experiences creating a dashboard of evidence-based metrics for APPs in the ACC hematology/oncology outpatient department.
