ABSTRACT

We all know that through television and the Internet, our patients are exposed to a staggering amount of information on complementary and alternative treatments. Some of these treatments are legitimate and potentially helpful, but some can be a waste of money and even possibly harmful. As oncology APs, how can we help our patients with cancer figure out which information they can trust?
