According to researchers from Maastricht University Medical Centre, Maastricht, The Netherland, the most important predictor of pathological complete response rate (pCR) in patients with breast cancer is clinical tumor stage. Indeed, patients with lower clinical tumor stages had significantly higher pCR rates than patients with higher clinical tumor stages.
